Janey Mcleod-White

Performing Arts & Acting Coaching

Janey Mcleod-White is an actress, performance poet and drama workshop leader. Janey has performed locally and nationally, including a number of productions at Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She received a BA Hons in Performing Arts in 2009 and since co-established a Theatre Co.  Janey has also worked as a presenter for various video production companies and online channels and accepted an 18 month role as in-house poet for a Bristol-based science-tech company. In 2018 Bath Fringe hosted Janey’s one woman show ‘Twenty Something which is a fusion of stand-up comedy and poetry which she performed to a sold out audience.

In 2019 she created and facilitated workshops for Soundstorm & Wave for a short film which premiered at Transmission fest as well as released her first poetry collection ‘What if?.’ 

Janey has had the privilege of leading workshops with Characters Stage School, Musical Mash-Up, Bath University and has designed and led summer schools for the egg Theatre, Bath culminating in a full technical show and led term-long courses for TRB Theatre School. 

Janey’s workshops for Clarion Call have always provided a focussed and engaging environment and have frequently motivated children to pursue a further interest in the performing arts.
